The Community Transportation Benefits Program helps cover transportation costs for qualifying individuals in San Mateo County.

How to Enroll? It’s Easy!
You can enroll in the new Community Transportation Benefits Program at any of the San Mateo County Core Service Agencies listed below:

Business 1. Call or go to your local Core Service Agency location. We recommend making an appointment by phone before going in-person. (See below for Core Service Agency hours, phone numbers, and locations).
Conversation 2. Tell a Case Manager you want to enroll in the Community Transportation Benefits Program*.
Question 3. Answer a few questions to verify your eligibility.
FasTrak Transponder and Clipper Card 4. Choose your NEW benefit and a Case Manager will help sign you up for a $200 credit Clipper Card or FasTrak® toll tag.
Pencil 5. Pick-up your new transportation benefit at your local Core Service Agency

*If you’re a new client, have income verification document ready (refer to FAQ section in fact sheet HERE for acceptable documentation). 

How Do I Qualify?
You must meet the following three qualifications:

  • A resident of San Mateo County
  • Age 18 or older
  • Earning an individual annual income at or below $82,260 (60% of San Mateo County Area Median Income (AMI))
    If you already receive at least one benefit provided through the San Mateo County Core Service Agencies Network, you are eligible!
